On the morning of March 5th, the 10th International Exhibition on Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering Technology (Vietship 2025) officially opened in Hanoi. The event was organized by the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC) in collaboration with the Vietnam Shipbuilding Engineering Corporation (VISEC).

This year's Vietship 2025 features prominent exhibition areas, including: shipbuilding and repair technology; offshore oil and gas exploration equipment; offshore wind energy technology; as well as logistics services, maritime transport, and ship classification. This is not only a platform for showcasing the latest technologies, but Vietship 2025 also serves as a networking hub for businesses, investors, and experts, promoting strong steps toward sustainable development in the maritime industry.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyễn Xuân Sang highly appreciated SBIC, the sponsors, 103 businesses, and more than 200 exhibition booths participating in the event.

This exhibition, organized by SBIC, is taking place in a very special context, following years of disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic, marking a milestone in the organization and the prestige of Vietnam’s shipbuilding and offshore engineering industry exhibitions," the Deputy Minister emphasized. He also added that Vietnam has set an economic growth target of 8% for this year. To achieve this goal, certain industries, including maritime and shipbuilding, are essential. Vietnam is also implementing a commitment to zero emissions, and SBIC is carrying out a comprehensive restructuring of the corporation.

This special event brings together nearly 200 booths from over 100 leading companies, both domestic and international, with major brands from Norway, the Netherlands, China, Finland, South Korea, Singapore, and many other countries. Vietship 2025 promises to provide a groundbreaking new look for the shipbuilding and offshore engineering industry, creating momentum for sustainable development and fostering international cooperation opportunities.
