THE NOFIRNO® MULTI-CABLE AND PIPE TRANSIT SEALING SYSTEM

The NOFIRNO® sealing system by Beele Engineering (The Netherlands) is a state-of-the-art solution for sealing multi-cable and multi-pipe penetrations. It is designed for applications requiring the highest levels of fire resistance and tightness. From shipbuilding and offshore platforms to industrial plants, NOFIRNO® guarantees superior safety, a proven service life of over 20 years, and a quick, simple installation process.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The NOFIRNO® system is a complete solution consisting of three fully compatible components:

1. NOFIRNO® Insert Sleeves

• Function: To separate individual cables/pipes, allowing the sealant to flow around them for optimal adhesion and a perfect seal.
• Design: Longitudinally split for easy wrapping around pre-installed cables.
• Sizes: 29 variants available for cable/pipe diameters from 5 mm to 104 mm, with multiple length options (60, 80, 110, 130, 140, 160, 210 mm).
• Operating Temperature: -50°C to +180°C.

2. NOFIRNO® Filler Sleeves

• Function: To fill remaining empty space in the transit opening, providing spare capacity for the future.
• Design: Non-split sleeves supplied in pre-configured multi-sets of 6, 8, 10, or 12.
• Flexibility: Individual sleeves or smaller sets can be easily separated by hand.
• Operating Temperature: -50°C to +180°C.

3. NOFIRNO® Sealant

• Function: A high-performance, fire-resistant silicone compound applied to both sides of the penetration to form a durable, flexible seal.
• Color: Standard: Red-brown. Optional: Blue, black, white, gray.
• Composition: 100% Halogen-free and Zero VOC (TÜV certified).
• Skin Formation Time: 0.5 to 1 hour, depending on ambient temperature and humidity.
• Hardness: 45 Shore A.
• Durability: Excellent resistance to UV, ozone, aging, and extreme weather (including arctic conditions). Proven lifetime of over 20 years.
• Packaging: 310 ml cartridges.
• Shelf Life: 6 months from production date.

• MED (Wheelmark): Certified under the Marine Equipment Directive.
• USCG Approval: Approved by the U.S. Coast Guard.
• Kiwa Covenant: Certified for watertightness and gastightness.
